Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • Submission not previously been published
  • Submission is in appropriate file format
  • URLs for references provided where available
  • Text is in correct format (as defined by author guidelines)
  • Text adheres to stylistic and bibliographic requirements (as defined by author guidelines)
  • Copyright clearance has been obtained for any 3rd Party content included in submission

Author Guidelines

  • Include your name, course and level, university affiliation, and ORCID ID (if applicable) with your submissions.
  • References must be submitted Harvard style. You can access guidance on correct Harvard-style referencing at Cite Them Right
  • Submissions up to 6000 words, including notes and references.
  • Ensure that all writing is in Aptos font, size 12, with 1.5 line spacing and justified alignment rather than left-aligned, submit the file in Word format for text based submissions.
  • Image submissions cited appropriately.
  • If you are submitting images, including artwork, designs, or photography, please provide a description of up to 100 words per image and submit the files in PDF or JPEG format.
  • Submissions must be accompanied by an abstract of up to 300 words. Abstracts should include a statement on the type of submission and its content.
  • Submissions should include up to 6 key words.
  • Submissions must be anonymous, without any references to, or clues about, the author's identity in the main text, footnotes, and bibliography.
